Pascal Parrein vit et travaille à Grenoble depuis 2003. Graveur et peintre, l'artiste a une formation à la fois scientifique et artistique. Elle a été diplômée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen en 1992 et des arts visuels de Paris I la Sorbonne en 1994. En parallèle, elle a obtenu une maîtrise en physique fondamentale et un doctorat en optique à Paris XI. L'artiste a effectué plusieurs stages de gravure, comme par exemple aux ateliers du Safrenier et du Contrepoint. Grâce à ces nombreux voyages en Suède, Suisse, Ecosse, ou encore au Canada, elle a perfectionné ses techniques et son expression. Dans ses oeuvres, il y a une véritable exploration de la matière, des interactions et du rythme entre les éléments. On ressent la recherche des mondes invisibles, et des univers inconnus. Son style minimaliste et abstrait a été exposé dans de nombreuses galeries, notamment dans celles de Grenoble, Paris, Orlando, ou Montréal.

Pascal Parrein lives and works in Grenoble since 2003. Engraver and painter, the artist has both a scientific and artistic background. She graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Rouen in 1992 and from the Visual Arts of Paris I la Sorbonne in 1994. In parallel, she obtained a master's degree in fundamental physics and a doctorate in optics at Paris XI. The artist has completed several printmaking courses, for example at the Safrenier and Counterpoint workshops. Thanks to her numerous trips to Sweden, Switzerland, Scotland and Canada, she has perfected her techniques and expression. In her works, there is a real exploration of the material, the interactions and the rhythm between the elements. One feels the search for invisible worlds, and unknown universes. Her minimalist and abstract style has been exhibited in numerous galleries, including those in Grenoble, Paris, Orlando, and Montreal.
